The Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry administers employee benefit plans and programs for many IBEW Local Union No. 3 members. Please refer to your collective bargaining agreement to determine the plans and programs in which you participate.
Coverage for an unmarried dependent child who is not a full-time student ends when the child reaches age 19. For COBRA continuation of your child’s medical and dental coverage, you must notify the Members’ Records Department at the Joint Board within 60 days after the child’s eligibility ends. Your child will then be required to submit a COBRA Application Form within 60 days after the Joint Board notifies your child of his/her right to elect COBRA continuation coverage.
