The Plan provides high-quality legal advice, counseling and representation. Whatever you discuss with your lawyer will be held in strict confidence. This benefit is based on contributions made on your behalf by your employer. These services are provided only in the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. All benefits are considered taxable income to the eligible participant and the Plan will report the value of the benefit to the IRS on a W-2 form.

- [Safety Training](https://www.jibei.org/benefits/safety-training/): The Electrical Employers Self Insurance Safety Plan (EESISP) sponsors robust safety programs targeted to both electrical contractors and to the members of Local No. 3. For signatory contractors, EESISP provides a service that mirrors New York's Code Rule 59 program, including the services of full-time Certified Safety Professionals, who assist contractors to recognize and correct any deficiencies they may have and to develop a comprehensive safety program. Once a contractor designs a safety program with EESISP's assistance, EESISP provides follow-up services to encourage effective implementation.
- [Educational and Cultural Programs](https://www.jibei.org/benefits/educational-and-cultural-programs/): Established in 1964 to provide educational, charitable and philanthropic programs that would improve the welfare of members, their families and the community. Though eligibility varies for each program, all benefits from this Fund are offered at no cost to eligible members of Local Union No. 3.
